The Montgomerie Golf Club

The Montgomerie Golf Course is nestled among the enormous villas in one of Dubai's most luxurious residential areas, Emirates Hills. It is an inland links course with generous landing areas and undulating greens, incorporating 14 lakes and 81 large bunkers. The course is particularly renowned for its thirteenth hole, which claims to have the largest single green in the world. At a whopping 58,000 sq feet, it is the equivalent of almost nine normal greens!

The inviting clubhouse overlooks the 18th green and has a great little restaurant called Bunkers. Later on in the evening, the clubhouse's Ninteen Restaurant transforms into a fine dining venue, which won the 2006 award for Dubai's best new restaurant. For those that want to stay near to the golf course, the clubhouse also contains a fantastic boutique hotel with 20 generously sized luxurious guest rooms.

Montgomerie course is also home to the Golf Academy by Troon Golf, which is said to be one of the finest teaching facilities in the world. The world-class indoor and outdoor practice facilities include a state-of-the-art swing studio, a nine-hole par three academy course, a short game area, practice putting greens and a practice fairway - all of which are fully floodlit.
