Dubai Creek Area Information

Dubai Creek Area is the area south of the extension of the Dubai Creek. It Includes the following areas:

Dubai Festival City

This is a waterfront urban community not far away from Dubai International Airport. It has a very easy access to all major Dubai highways. It is formed by three distinctive parts: Marsa Al Khor, Festival Centre and Al Badia all connected by an impressive 30 km. internal road network and a creek side promenade. Marsa Al Khor and Al Badia are residential and office areas while the Festival City offers a wide choice of  retail, entertainment, leisure and hotel facilities.

The Lagoons

The Lagoons is a huge project, being created by extending the Dubai Creek further into the desert land. It should be made of seven interconnected islands: Al Dana, Al Sedaifa, Al Jiwin, Al Lulu, Al Hassabia and Dubai Opera House.

However it looks like this beautiful project will have to wait for better times in order to become a reality.
