![]() The Aquarium OverviewA mouth-watering journey into the flavours of the Pacific. Inspired by 'new tastes' of Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, US and Mexico. Fine seafood and delicate meat and poultry, in the style of Californian cuisine.
The setting of this restaurant is stunning being right on the creek and on the first level so views are superb at any time of day. There is a feeling of activity and energy yet it remains calm and relaxing. There is a beautifully stylish wine lounge where you can take a pre-dinner drink or relax with your after dinner coffee.
For starters we ordered shrimp tempura and crab cakes. Both were beautifully presented, tasting as good as they looked with the crab cakes being extremely light and fluffy in texture and not overpowering in taste. Main courses were equally enjoyed, we tried Monkfish with shitake mushrooms and pak choi and Salmon with cranberry and pea mash - a great explosion of flavours !
Desserts had to be squeezed in and we were not disappointed with grapefruit and apple bavarois and chocolate tian. With mint tea and chocolates to follow the meal came to 400 dhs. for two including two glasses of house wine.
All in all a great experience that comes highly recommended for delicious food, great ambience and attentive staff.
