Asado

Asado is a lively Argentinean grill situated in Downtown Dubai which serves premium meat cuts on an open Parrilla grill in the centre of the restaurant. Dine outside in the cooler months to make the most of the terrace while marvelling at the views of The Dubai Fountain from a 600m high vantage point. Alternatively, relax in the warmly lit interior with its rough stone walls and open kitchen whilst enjoying live music.

With an a la carte menu in addition to a set menu, Asado offers a high-end range of Argentinean dishes as well as the largest collection of Argentinean beverages in the Middle-East. For starters, the soup of the day is often worth a look. The mushroom soup is deliciously thick and creamy, complimented with just a drop of olive oil, and arrives in a modestly sized bowl, leaving plenty of space for the main. Select the beautifully marbled and sensationally tender 7oz tenderloin steak, which arrives with a side order of thick-cut fries. Alternatively, if steak doesn't appeal to you, choose the lighter chicken and vegetable dish. There is an excellent dessert menu which includes a mouth-watering apple tart complimented by a scoop of velvety vanilla ice-cream.
