Welcome to ... French Riviera
The French Riviera, or Cote d’Azur as it is known in France is an international playground for the rich and famous. With approximately 300 days of sunshine per year, this glorious coastline attracts visitors from all over the globe.
Stretching from Menton near the Italian border to Saint-Tropez in Var, you can follow 80 miles of scenic beaches and stunning coastline from one town to the next, experiencing the different personalities and cultures of each village on the way. Whether you’re looking for rustic charm on the westerly parts of the coast around Saint Raphael and Frejus or the seriously glamourous desinations in Cannes, Antibes, Nice and the Principality of Monaco, there is something for everyone on the Riviera.... read more

Greolingua French Courses
Posted by Barb Church Oct 2011
We wanted to take a French immersion course and I thought it would be great to combine that with a trip to France. After finding a list of immersion courses on the web, I contacted a few but the most intriguing course was Valérie's. She was able to offer us two weeks of immersion (just the two of us) and a great selection of activities to get us speaking French. It was an amazing two weeks. Not only were we learning but also we got a chance to visit many small towns and villages in and around Nice. Valérie's style as a teacher worked well for us. Not only that but she is very outgoing, warm, friendly and passionate about life. I know I would go back in a heartbeat. Gréolières is a small village but the people were friendly. There were restaurants, a bakery and a small grocery store for those who want to "live" in the village. And of course, if you have a car, you have the luxury of exploring all if the Alpes Maritimes. Le Club 55
Posted by Leslie Siek Oct 2011
My hubby and I honeymooned In the Cote D'Azur in 2005 and we had the best time at Club 55!! It totally enhanced our "romantic heat index", blowing it through the roof, in fact. It is a sexy, fun, and chic place to sun bathe. We came home to the US and 9 months later, our prayers were answered: the birth of our son, Tristram Michael!! Thank you Club 55!! Clearly, you have helped to bless the Siek family from Rowayton,, CT, USA!! Merci beaucoup!!!! We hope to visit as 3 before too long. Je t'aime! XOX, Leslie

Les Distilleries Ideales
Posted by Phil Sep 2011
I have visited Nice for a main holiday twice in recent years and I love the place. This bar is the best. It has a good selection of beers and the atmosphere is calm and cool. Very olde worlde. The service is excellent. If you are hungry, try the planches - one is of cooked meats and the other a variety of cheeses. Happy hour every day, but I was always happy to pay the full price.
