The hotel is situated in the province of La Coruña, in a small village near Carballo in the Coast of Death. It's situation permits knowing the region in all senses. 8km to the nearest beach (Razo, blue flag), 33 km. to La Coruña, or 44km. to Santiago de Compostela make it an unbeatable starting point for attractive excursions to the main cities of la Coruña or to the breathaking Costa de la Muerte.

The special double rooms are very spacious and comfortable. They have TV, telephone, yacuzzi bathrooms, central heating and even free internet conection.

At the bar, where also a very varied and generous breakfast is served, the visitors can alternate with other clients in a family atmosphere, have interesting conversations with the owners (they speak english, german, italian and french) and of course taste the typical liquors, drinks or wines of the region. Periodally, the famous "Queimada" (an alcoholic drink made from aguardiente which is set on fire to chase bad spirits, witches and demons) is prepared for all the guests.

Besides of being a beautiful corner of the house, ideal to relax, read or have small talk with some friends, the originality of the perfectly conserved little oratory is one of the highlights of galician manor-house archtecture.

Many couples ask for romantic nights. Pazo do Souto offers them a special price which includes a wellcoming fruit and champagne snack, flower-present for her and a romantic dinner with candle-light. Room service is available from 8 a.m. till 24 p.m and any wish you have will be realized with immediately.

The whole surroundings are beautiful with landscaped gardens to enjoy. The hotel has a private chestnut forest where in summertime, fiesta-dinners are served, it has also a leisure-park for children, table tennis tables, swimming-pool, tennis-court and bicycles can be rented.

The swimming-pool is opened from april till october. There is also a small pool for children.

There is a relaxing living-room that is totally private for the guests. A huge fireplace and other typical galician elements in the manor-house are very interesting.

The restaurant is one of the most appreciated places by the guests. The menus served in Pazo do Souto are exceptionnal and every single client is very surprised by the excellent cooking that is offered. Also the price for the dishes are very affordable.
