I went to see the hotel out of curiosity without staying the night.I was shown some of the hotel facilities and was very impressed with the mix of traditional and contemporary architecture and interior design. Everything including toilets were spotlessly clean and finshed to a very high standard. The setting close to the Ria de Vigo and the beautiful landscaped gardens are impressive. These are complemented with huge carved stones depicting family Coats of Arms- a unique and wonderful collection deserving of such a special home. The whole experience was very relaxing and uplifting with fantastic views looking out towards the Port of Vigo and also further afield to the open Atlantic and Islas Cies. This is a great place to come and enjoy a nice drink in the garden terrace on a hot day close to the centre of Vigo in arguably one of the nicest parts of the city. Its also close to the the new Museum of the Sea. I will try to come back here and book myself a night the next time I'm in Vigo.
