Transcantabrico Rooms:

Guests can choose from climate-controlled double and single suite compartments. The train stops at night, and guests enjoy privacy and comfort. The compartments include travel accessories and 220-volt electrical outlets. The compartments have double beds, and some have an upper bunk as well. There are luggage racks, a wardrobe, and a safe deposit box. There is a writing desk and a telephone, as well as a mini-bar. Each compartment has a private bathroom, with a hydro sauna, turbo massage and a steam bath. A hair dryer is included. The suites and the bathrooms have large picture windows. There is a “high-luxe” suite with a large bed, a computer with internet access, and a living area with a sofa and its own television. The bathroom has a sauna, Jacuzzi, and Turkish bath.

Transcantabrico Restaurants & Bars:

A buffet breakfast is served every morning on the train. Meals are provided in selected restaurants, chosen for their settings, gourmet cuisine and use of local ingredients. Lunches and dinners include a selection of wines, coffees, and liqueurs. Guests should inform the company in advance of dietary restrictions. There is a “pub carriage” that has a bar and a dance floor, with nightly entertainment. Another bar car provides a quieter atmosphere.

Transcantabrico Facilities:

The company arranges excursions to local sights when the train stops. There are two lounge cars for quiet entertainment, such as reading or playing board games. The cars have large picture windows to show the scenery. The train is stocked with newspapers, books, and videos. There is a daily laundry service. There is a first aid kit on the train, and medical services can be arranged if a need arises. The train has its own security service.
