Bodega Casa Moreiras
Galicia
Casa Moreiras have been pioneers of the recovery of native varieties of grapes to make quality wines since the mid-eighties, especially the varieties Mencia and Godello.
The wines are made with grapes from their own vineyards located in Panton, Ribera do Minho and Amandi. Today the winery has about 14 hectares of vineyards. The techniques used here for wine making are the most avant-garde found in today's market, and include the process of collapse and arrival of the grapes at the winery by gravity, temperature controlled fermentation, maceration controlled throughout the process and smooth pumping. Each variety of grape plant has a specially designed, comprehensive control over all plots of vineyards. They also carry out the vintage staggering the degree of maturation of the grapes to make sure they produce the optimal final product.
The winery is also part of the alcoholic beverages sector with the production of wine, spirits and liquers of high quality and modern design. Casa Moreiras is a winery attached to the Regulatory Council of Ribeira Sacra. The winery produces and offers customers high-end, young wines with a truly unique taste. To increase awareness of the brand in the rest of Spain and further afield, products are now available through the website.
