Mieles Anta
Galicia
Born in the 80s with the aim to keep up a family tradition of working in the beekeeping sector, Mieles Anta is dedicated to producing the finest honey in the mountains of Galicia. Along with their hives set up in the Galician mountains, Mieles Anta have a processing plant in Samos for the honey extraction process and one in Grela, for the packaging and distribution, which sees the honey products distributed all over Galicia and Spain, as well as to Germany, France and Belgium.
The 8,000 hives are located amongst diverse fauna and are at least 500 metres above sea level, which allows the bees to produce an average of 25 kilos of high quality honey each year. Ecolological honey of 'Pazo de Lusio' is also extracted, as well as the pollen and propolis. All of the produce is collected by hand each spring.
Mieles Anta provides an extensive range of products including liquors, pollen in conventional or organic brand and honey. Pollen has high levels of energy and vitamins and is used to balance and revitalise the body.
