Resturant El Tunel

Resturant El Tunel is superbly located close to Baiona Harbour in the Casco Viejo (Old Town) and forms part of the gastronomic tradition of the town.

El Tunel was founded in 1936 with family origins and maintains this original aspect in a place with a tradition in galician gastronomy. It's one of the largest restaurants in Baiona with a capacity for 400 persons and there is a giant tank/counter integrated into the window display which reveals the catches of the day!

There are over 100 dishes available and El Tunel strives to maintain its highest standards of cuisine and freshness in all it does.it's renowned for its fish and shellfish dishes frehly caught from the local estuaries. Local specialities include shellfish,lobster with rice,roast sea bass,roast goat,roasted galician beef and almond cake.

The restaurant is fully air conditioned with two levels and an inside terrace. In summer it's also possible to eat in the open square in front of El Tunel.
