Pazo de Mendoza Restaurant

Pazo de Mendoza is a converted,historic house which dates back to 1768. It's now a luxury 11 bedroomed hotel but its 50 seater restaurant is also renowned throughout Galicia.

The restaurant is close to the sea (Baiona estuary) and its terraces face the maritime walkway,in the heart of Baiona's Old Town.

The cuisine is traditional galician but with a creatIve touch. No trip to Baiona is complete without a visit to sample cooking of prime quality and with such professional service.

Pazo de Mendoza Restaurant is also an ideal place to enjoy business lunches or celebrations and the dinning room is available for reservation and personalised menus can be prepared.

There are also regular,celebratory gastronomic dinners when wine cellars,leading chefs and wine sommeliers from Spain and Portugal promote their products to Pazo de Mendoza's clients and an create unforgettable dinning experience.

In the 11 years the restaurant has been open it has developed a reputation as being one of the leading references for galician gastronomy and features in all of the leading national gastronomic guides. The restaurant is also a member of an exclusive association of galician restaurants "Galician Gourmet Cooking" and only 13 restaurants in Galicia are members.

The wine list is a selection of national wines elaborated by the sommelier and the vice-president of the galician association of sommeliers, Pedro Villamarin.
