Overmeer Guest House Accommodation:

The guest house has nine five-star rooms, three “classic accredited rooms” and a family unit. Guests can make their own tea or coffee in all of the rooms, which are also equipped with bar fridges. All of the rooms offer satellite television and wireless internet access. The furnishings are contemporary, in earth tones and neutral colors.

Some of the five-star rooms are air-conditioned, and have private furnished balconies overlooking the lagoon. They can be made up with king-sized beds or two twin beds. There are spa baths in the tiled bathrooms, which are open to the rest of the room. A smaller number of five-star rooms have similar furnishings and amenities, but are not air-conditioned. The classic rooms are in an annex, which is not air-conditioned. The furnishings are comfortable, but more rustic in style. Two of the rooms are on the first floor, and have views of the lagoon. They have a shower in the bathroom. Another classic room is on the second floor, with a private balcony. It has a king-sized bed that can be made up as two twins. The Classic Family Unit has three bedrooms, furnished with a double bed in the master bedroom and two single beds in the other two rooms. Two bathrooms have showers. There is a lounge and a furnished patio, as well as a small kitchenette that is not equipped for self catering.

The Overmeer also lets a self-catering Holiday Home. The two-storey house has an en-suite master bedroom with a double bed, a second double bedroom, and a third bedroom with two twin beds and a bunk bed. Two of the bedrooms share a balcony. The home’s kitchen is fully equipped, and there is also a dining area and a lounge with a television. Guests can receive DSTV channels if they bring their own card. Bed linens are supplied; towels are not. The house has wireless internet access.

The resort serves a number of breakfast options, from continental to full English, with a large buffet selection. Breakfast is served on the pool patio, or in a sunny room with colorful African artwork. Guests can partake of an honesty bar and relax in the attached lounge area. A shuttle service to local restaurants is available for an extra charge.

The guest house has a swimming pool with a tiled deck and sun loungers. There is an internet station for guests at the front desk, and wireless internet access throughout the house. The staff will help with booking tourist excursions and travel arrangements, and can arrange airport transfers. Secure undercover parking is provided.
