At the Woods Guest House Accommodation:

The 8 en-suite rooms are all beautifully appointed and the attention to detail is noticeable. Each room has its own private deck or patio to enjoy the delightful views, linen is of a high quality and twin or king size double beds are available depending on guest’s needs. Rooms also have tea and coffee facilities, a bar fridge, television with select DSTV channels and a safe. Breakfast is included in the rate and is served either in the dining room or on the scenic deck (weather dependant). Dinner and a packed lunch are also available at an extra charge. Dinner is subject to there being enough diners, however your hosts will be happy to make arrangements for you at local restaurants should there be insufficient numbers wishing to dine in.

The landscaped garden has a generously sized swimming pool, splash pool and wooden sundeck, whilst inside there are two guest lounges to relax in, as well as an internet station with Wi-Fi.

At the Woods Guest House is located in Storms River Village, a quiet little village at the heart of the Tsitsikamma just off the N2, 65 km east of Plettenberg Bay, and 170 km west of Port Elizabeth.

The Tsitsikamma area is a nature lover’s paradise and is home to a variety of activities to keep the guests at At the Woods Guest House entertained. Gentle walks in the unspoilt indigenous Tsitsikamma forest, Treetop Canopy Tours that involve sliding through the forest canopy, bungee jumping, horse riding and more are all on offer in the charming Tsitsikamma. The Tsitsikamma National Park is most definitely a must see, and a trip to the Storms River Mouth is well worth it for the amazing views.

Bird watchers are also in their element here and At the Woods Guest House can offer guided forest walks by registered tour guides from the accommodation.

Rates and general information

Rates are from R425 to R525 per person per night sharing on a bed and breakfast basis. Single rates are from R525 to R787. Rates are subject to change without prior notice. Please contact the team at At the Woods Guest House for rates confirmation.

Check in is from 14h00 on day of arrival, unless by prior arrangement and check out is by 10h00 on day of departure, unless by prior arrangement.

Children are welcome. Rates will be dependant on sleeping arrangements. There is a triple room and a family room, as well as cots available. Animals are not permitted.

Booking Conditions

A deposit of 50% of the total booking amount is required within 48 hours to confirm the reservation and balance is due on arrival. Bookings made within seven days of arrival will only be taken as confirmed once full payment has been made within 24 hours of booking.

All cancellations or changes to bookings must be made in writing. If a booking is cancelled, a minimum fee of R100 applies. Thereafter the following applies:

• less than 7 days prior to arrival, 100% of the deposit is retained.
• 7 – 14 Days prior to arrival, 75% of the deposit is retained.
• 15 – 21 days prior to arrival, 50% of the deposit is retained
• 22 days or more prior to arrival – 25% of the deposit is retained.
