Say the name ‘Quay Four’ and locals and foreigners, who have visited Cape Town at least once before, will almost always, have a story to tell about the V & A’s Quay Four Waterfront Tavern. Serving up good food at wallet friendly prices, Quay Four has sealed its place as a legendary Cape Town restaurant and now due to popular demand we’ve opened up on Thesen Island, Knysna in South Africa's Garden Route

With live bands, big screens and a warm fireplace, Quay Four on Thesen Island, is all about keeping you entertained and giving you a space to relax, unwind and enjoy a good meal without breaking the bank. Come and experience our fish-braai’s and enjoy fresh oysters on the deck with an outlook of the lagoon, stretching to the Heads. Quay Four on Thesen Island, offers a variety of light meals and salads, as well as hearty pub fare for those with a bigger appetite, though the emphasis is on sumptuous seafood. Visitors can spend a leisurely day on the deck at Quay Four drinking cocktails and enjoying delicious tapas while soaking up the views.

We will also be continuing with the Quay Four in the V & A’s traditional: Battle of the Bands, Octoberfest & Irish Fest as well as gaining new reasons to celebrate like the Oyster Festival and the Pink Loerie Festival. The oyster tanks will be put to use again, adding to the ambiance of Quay Four; and a talk on oysters will also be given to anyone who wishes to know more about the delicious little creatures.

Quay Four is also open for breakfast everyday and offer a great selection of fry-ups and coffees.
