Scrumptious memories are created where the Rheenendal farmlands meet the indigenous forests of Knysna – at The Red Barn Restaurant & Country store, located just outside the beautiful Garden Route town of Knysna.

The newly renovated, 20 year old Cape Cod style barn provides access to unique local art, fresh produce from neighbouring farms and delicious cuisine from our talented new chef.

The menu at The Red Barn, Knysna is inspired by seasonal produce and features artisan meats and cheeses a variety of pickles, preserves & mayonnaise – all made on the premises or locally. The wine list is affordable yet features spectacular wines such as Bramon Methode Cap Classique, the Bonnievale Vertex range and award winning Arabella wines.

This spectacular Garden Route venue, nestled amongst macadamia nut orchards and overlooking a lily filled dam, lends itself as a venue for special occasions – a true country style wedding; the end point of a lovely cycle through the Homtini mountain bike trail or Millwood Forest hikes; or just lazy long lunches with friends and family.

The Red Barn Knysna's restaurant grounds are equipped with a large jungle gym, swings and various racket and ball games and there is also some excellent back to nature Garden Route self-catering accommodation on-site in the form of Fern Gully's self catering cabins.

Trading Hours: 9am - 4pm: Wednesday to Sunday and Public Holidays.

Friday night: kitchen closes at 10pm.
