 Keolamauloa OverviewA unique Hawaii destination, Keolamauloa is a 4 acre family farm located on the Hamakua Coast of Hawaii, where 3 generations share a working vision of sustainable living. On a stroll in the gardens and forest, you’ll visit the roaming chickens, the pet pig, eating and resting, and the ocean beyond. The forest is filled with the sound of birds and the frequent view of a circling I’o (the endangered, native Hawaiian Hawk). The farm produces wholesome food for guests and the Hawaii community while continually working on the restoration of native Hawaiian forest and wildlife habitat. Keolamauloa Accommodation: Guests of Keolamauloa have the option of an apartment in the main house for a farm stay vacation or short term rental. Guests will enjoy a private entrance, fully equipped kitchen, living room, bathroom and two bedrooms, each with a double bed. Upon arrival, guests are greeted with a welcome basket of fresh farm produce. Keolamauloa Facilities: Property amenities include laundry, wifi, foosball, TV with DVD player, and the soothing sound of small waterfalls. A Hot Tub is located in an outside dining area. The property features native banana, koa, kukui, and ohia trees as well as hapu ferns, taro, awa and noni. Keolamauloa Location: Hamakua Coast of Hawaii, less than an hour's drive north of Hilo, Hawaii and about twenty miles from Kamuela-Waimea town. |
