Cafe Romantica is a must when traveling the winding, beautiful, white-knuckle drive to Hana. Owned and operated by culinary trained husband and wife team, Cafe Romantica serves a gourmet menu of vegetarian cuisine and desserts.

"Auntie" Lori creates each dish from scratch, with options ranging from swedish cream of potato soup to tomato and mushroom quiche. The menu includes soups, chilled salads and pastas, assorted International entrees, and classic desserts. Popular menu items include vegetarian crepes, tofu tandoori, and vegie-burger wellington.

Cafe Romantica's extensive dessert list includes Kona coffee tiramisu, Hawaiian chocolate truffel, apple strudel, Hawaiian coconut haupia pie, and many more!

The best way to find Cafe Romantica is to keep an eye out for a yellow sign with red writing that says "Gourmet International Vegetarian Cuisine." And don't be fooled by the word "vegetarian" as "Auntie" Lori cooks hearty, healthy cuisine. Cafe Romantica is cash only, like most of the food trucks on the road to Hana, and there are no ATM's after Kahului-Paia area.
