Star Gaze Hawaii offers private, group, and regularly scheduled stargazing sessions
on the Big Island of Hawaii where they bring the telescopes to you. Stargaze Hawaii uses high power Celestron 11 (28cm) telescopes to provide an amazing viewing experience.
With low levels of light pollution and temperate conditions, the Big Island of Hawaii is a premier stargazing location. Through the Celestron 11 (28cm) telescopes, guests will be able to view planets, interesting stars, galaxies, nebulae, and star clusters accompanied by commentary provided by a knowledgeable staff member.
Regularly scheduled stargazing sessions are held at 3 Kohala Coast Hotels, listed below. Each session lasts one hour and includes a handout package with an astronomy fact booklet, astronomy postcards, a map of constellations, and a red LED light. Astronomy sessions include a knowledgeable star guide with a passion for astronomy who will guide you through the sky and answer any general astronomy questions. Sessions are limited to 30 individuals, reservations required.

Star Gaze Hawaii can also arrange private stargazing sessions for individuals, groups, private parties, and conventions. Narration and printed material can be customized to accommodate the group and special group pricing is offered. Inquire about private or group stargazing sessions here.
