Hong Kong Clubs

Dancing is more enjoyable than regular exercise. In Hong Kong, there are 3 places where you can enjoy dance; clubs, nightclubs and discos. The variety goes further when you discover the mix of Western and Chinese themes from venue to venue.

Western style clubs cater more to foreigners as the activities here are limited only to dancing and eating, and watching a pop number, while Chinese style clubs have entertainment and dining packages fit for business and family occasions with performances like folk dances, acrobats and other forms of presentation about the Chinese culture. Clubs are more exclusive, with entry regulations. Clubs usually have events held on festival days where snacks and drinks are “on-the-house”. All clubs have a dance floor with a DJ in charge of mixing disco music. Conversely, nightclubs have the same offerings but they are open to all. In addition to that, they also stage performances and some have rooms for karaoke. Others offer ladies for better guest relations but you have to pay an extra charge. Both clubs and nightclubs are found in main tourist districts: Central, Causeway Bay and Tsim Sha Tsui.
