Our Local Experts say:
The 'other side of the harbour', as what most people call it, is the more traditional having more Asian restaurants than Western restaurants. But that doesn't mean Kowloon can't give you a fair share of international food!
Asian cuisine takes the spotlight here, mainly because of a good number of tea shops and dim sum restaurants available in this peninsula. In Kowloon City, Cantonese, Chiu Chow, and Sichuan dishes can be found at restaurants in Miramar Shopping Centre. For Western fare, take a look at the streets of Prince Edward Road, Nathan Road, Knutsford Terrace, Knutsford Steps and Observatory Court. They are also open until late night to accommodate tourists enjoying the Hong Kong life. Near Tin Hau Temple is a little fishing village famous for its fresh seafood. Now is the time to feast your eyes on our Kowloon list!
