Sol Ibiza Overview

Just 21 kms from the airport and boasts several lovely beaches, a palm lined promenade, shops, restaurants, art galleries, and a very smart marina.

The seasonal Sol Ibiza Hotel is a short distance from the centre (although the centre seems to be growing towards it), on a rocky and pine clad promontory that protects the marina and bay on the north east side. Comments from previous guests are usually a good guide, and all the comments we've seen from last year have been complimentary.

Sol Ibiza Rooms:

This is a substantial hotel, with 275 rooms, many of which have excellent views. Standard equipment includes air conditioning, heating, satellite TV, telephone, mini bar fridge, safe, and private bathroom with hair dryer. There has been some negative comment about thin walls and noise from rooms above.

Sol Ibiza Restaurants & Bars:

The hotel gastronomy is largely buffet style, with a show cooking service, and an Italian corner. There's also a piano bar, as well as a snack bar in the pool area. Previous guests praise the quality and quantity of the food, to the extent of recommending the all-inclusive options!

Sol Ibiza Facilities:

The list of facilities at the Sol Ibiza is not over long, but adequate, and the town offers plenty of attractions, as does Ibiza Town, which is a scant 12 kilometres away.
