The first 2 weeks of May every year celebrate when Ibiza was named a World Heritage Site. The Medieval festival is held in Ibiza town and all the way up to Dalt Vila. Hundreds of stalls are set up with everything from typical foods to arts and crafts objects. Thousands of people attend this festival every year and become fascinated by the entertainment such as medieval theatre, falconry, archery and belly dancing. New this year is the Medieval Tapa Hunt, which provides the opportunity of visiting a number of different restaurants and tasting the delicious "typical tapas", all named after a Medieval weapon.
