![]() Cardamom Club Indian Restaurant OverviewFrom such a typically Ibizan building (“La Posada” is a 15th century built farmhouse), one could be forgiven for not expecting quality and authenticity of Indian cuisine. However, proprietors Craig and Nawine fail to disappoint, with the Cardamom Club delivering an eating experience that every bit matches the setting.
The location is superb; the Puig d’en Missa is just a short walk from the Cardamom, sitting on the hills above the restaurant terrace. Tables sitting amid the grape vines provide a romantic evening spot, but a visit during the winter months is worth it solely to experience the warmth and relaxation of dining among the open fire and genuine Indian artefacts.
With influences from all over India noticeable throughout the menu, the old favourites are there in force, but look to the chalk board for some creative alternatives such as the Braised Beef Sabji served with curried parsnip puree, masal and coriander carrots that really capture the essence of the Cardamom Club. Real Indian food of the highest standard, enjoyed in the comfort of this charming venue.
Opening Times:
19:00 until late. Closed Tuesdays. Open 13:00 - 22:00 Sundays and closed Mondays during the winter. |
