![]() Tentazione OverviewUnlike its 200 year old building, the history of this place is relatively short. It opened only in June 2009 (although it is hard to believe given the reputation it has built up) after many months of meticulous planning and organisation. All the work proved to be worthwhile and the restaurant has hit the ground running, receiving plaudits from all who dine here. Making a name for itself all over the island and attracting passing customers in their hoards, a table at Tentazione is one of the most sought-after on Ibiza during the busy summer months.
So what is the magical formula that lies behind this success? For owner Francesco it is simple; an authentic Italian restaurant needs Italian produce, Italian recipes, Italian style, and staff from, you guessed it, Italy. It is no coincidence that the place works says Francesco, but surely even he could not have predicted the level of business in the first summer. Certainly the location is perfect for catching the attention of the many passing tourists, but Tentazione has maxed its potential by creating a wonderfully alluring dining space. There is a pleasant pavement terrace for al fresco eating, but it is the inside of the building that is most striking and memorable. The stones that make up the walls are the originals, as is the distinctive water feature all of which works perfectly in tandem with the modern furnishings and sympathetic lighting.
Credit for the fantastic food goes to the dynamic duo of Christia Fiocca and Maria Rosa Orecchio (Francesco' s own mother), an effective combination of the experienced and the innovative. Two fine examples of Tentazione’s recipe for good eating can be found in the starters of Caprese de Burrata and Camelie. The former an illustration of a classic made without fault and with the most deliciously creamy Burrata cheese, the latter an exciting new creation. As a main course I would strongly recommend the Swordfish, the flavours of which delighted the taste buds, although I will definitely be returning soon to try one of the pizzas. The menu included some well-picked wines from Italy, Spain and Chile and also the special Estrella Inedit beer. Tentazione advertises itself, amongst other things, as a dessert bar and there is a fine selection of cakes and homemade ice-creams to enjoy after dinner or as an afternoon snack from 5pm.

Después de leer las maravillas que se comentan, no puedo hacer más de discrepar. La atmósfera fria, la decoración un quiero y no puedo, la comida normalita, todo podia tener un pase, pero el servicio fué realmente decepcionante...presuntuoso y poco respetuoso con los clientes!

well, i'm also a fan of tentazione up in dalt villa, ibiza. i have eaten there a few times already and alwas tried something new. the restaurant itself is really beautiful, no matter if you dine outside or inside. and it's definitely my favourite REAL italian place on the whole island. you know, there are so many average italian places in ibiza (and everywhere else, to be honest) where you get your standard pizza and pasta, but if you want the real deal and local specialties like the burrata, then tentazione is where you have to go! the guy running the restaurant is a big-hearted man and you can tell he's really into what he's doing! more places like this please!

I have been there for the first time last summer and I really appreciated the atmosphere, the nice location and the kindness of Francesco.
The food is real italian food, believe me I am italian. My favourite dishes were the Risotto with strawberry (prepared by the Francesco's mother, a very fantastic woman) and the home-made italian Tartufo, an icecream with chocolate, white cream and nuts. Giovanna
