I recently treated two guests to a Sunday Early Bird Dinner at Co Co's. The food, value, and service was superb with the rich tapestry of decor adding to a very enjoyable experience
St. Anne's Golf Club
Posted by Brian Fleming May 2011
I visit Dublin each year with a group of golfing friends from the Birmingham area. This year for the first time we included St. Anne's in our itinerary, having been seduced by Padraig Harrington's comments on their website. In short we were very impressed. For a course we hadn't heard about previously, we were really stunned by the quality of the links. On the day, there was strong breeze off the sea which made it a real challenge (though the members assured us it was calm day). The green fees were very reasonable in comparison with the other courses we played, and the food and hospitality afterwards was excellent. We will definitely be including St. Anne's on itinerary for next year.
Extreme Ireland
Posted by Jose Ramoles Apr 2011
Myself and Gerry just came back from an awesome trip with Stephen to the Cliffs of Moher. Great day had by all, we even stopped at a Leprachauns house and got to throw stones into a well. Stephen is a great guide, lots of information and good jokes. We were recommended Extreme Ireland by our friends in Dublin and we were so glad with it.
Vaughans Anchor Inn
Posted by Pearse Mar 2011
Nice quiet pub with a medium sized restaurant at the back. Front bar had a fire going and a few locals sipping quietly on their Guinness. We weren't expecting to eat had just stopped for a refreshment but changed our minds when we glanced at the menu. The food was just top class very simple but excellent. I had Fish and Chips, the chips were proper home made and not frozen ones. It was a real suprise to get such great food, we had no idea that this place would work out so well. Have to recommend it.
