Ireland Bus Services

There are a number of bus companies offering services throughout Ireland. The national bus company, Bus Eireann provides extensive inter city routes that connect all the main towns and cities in the Republic, and also serves rural regions throughout the country. There are also routes serving all the main Irish airports.

In Northern Ireland, Ulsterbus provides a comprehensive coach service throughout the province serving many rural areas and an express Goldline inter-city service.
In addition to these, there are a number of private bus operators who provide coach services mainly from the regions to Dublin city and airport, but also some national inter-city routes. See the table below for further details.

In the urban centres, Dublin, Cork, Galway, Limerick and Belfast, there are local bus services operating routes within these cities. The main bus stations will have localised information on routes and timetables.
