The George Hotel Yarmouth Overview

The George Hotel is well-known and one of the most perfectly located hotels in Yarmouth on the Isle of Wight. Right on the waters edge, over-looking The Solent and next to Yarmouth Pier, the restaurants, pubs and shops of the little harbour town are all a very short walk away. The harbour itself... popular with sailors, makes The George the perfect hotel for hopping off the Wightlink ferry and walking round the corner to enjoy your stay!

Yarmouth is ideally situated to explore the Isle of Wight, including it's many stunning walks, cycle routes, historic sights... not forgetting it's annual events such as The Gaffers Festival, The Round the Island Yacht Race and Cowes Week.

The George Hotel Yarmouth Rooms:

The George Hotel has seventeen individually styled rooms, some with glorious sea views. The George prides itself on attention to detail, designed to cater for your every need, in a traditional and warm atmosphere. Each room includes bathrobes, hairdryers, satellite television and a direct-dial telephone. Full room service. See The George Hotel website for full details of rooms.

The George Hotel Yarmouth Restaurants & Bars:

With a Michelin Star, the main restaurant at the hotel has modern European cuisine with a French influence. You will find the traditional environment very welcoming. However, there is also the brasserie - a more informal dining experience. Here you can enjoy the garden, which backs onto the sea and is the perfect place to relax in the sunshine and watch the sailing boats... particularly during Cowes Week of course. In both restaurants, organic and local produce is always sourced where possible.

In addition the hotel has an intimate lounge and bar. High levels of service are offered in a relaxed atmosphere.
