Godshill
Godshill is an inland village of medium size. This is one of the most popular tourist spots, due to it being full of character with its thatched cottages and pretty church on the hill. Although there is not that much accommodation available in the village itself, many people pop into the village for its various interesting gift shops, cafes and tea rooms, restaurants and pubs. Chocolate Island is a particular favourite, along with the Model Village attraction. Well worth a visit to stock up on postcards and gifts to take home, take a cream-tea break, or to have a tasty meal.
