Restaurant Justin Brown at Farringford opened February 2012. Set in the beautiful grounds of Farringford in Freshwater, this modern and stylish restaurant is undoubtedly set to be one of the Isle of Wight's top restaurants.
One of the features which promises to make Justin's restaurant rather special, is his 8 course Tasting Menu. Take your time enjoying each course with your table, in a relaxed atmosphere with first class service and superb food. (Other options are available - please see the Farringford website for further menus... link provided.)
Prices range from £13 for a two course menu (at lunch) to £50 for the 8 course Taster Menu.
CHEF'S TABLE
Welcome to the Isle of Wight's first and only chefs table, set in the heart of the kitchen directly opposite the pass you will get to smell and watch every dish get plated up and leave the kitchen directly in front of you.
Watch the team of chefs as they carefully construct your food, help the waiting staff in serving you and also answer any questions about each dish. Sit through an entire professional service and enjoy this very rare opportunity. Justin said:
"The reason for the chefs table is simple, I want our customers to be able to come in the kitchen and see how we work, we have nothing to hide, all our food is made by us from the bread to the ice cream, most people have to go to London for this experience so I wanted to bring the chefs table concept to the Isle of Wight, its great fun for the customers and the chefs and provides great entertainment for everyone."
