Dance of Colours - Turkish Folk Dances

Dances of Colours have been offering periodical Turkish folk dances at one of the biggest theatres (Press Museum, Cemberlitas) in Turkey since 2001. Dances from regions all across the country are represented in this energetic show which aims to reflect the colourful culture of Turkey.

The Dances of Colours performance is made up of many regional traditional Turkish folk dances as well as the highly spiritual 'Whirling Dervish' ceremony. Costumes worn remain true to their origin in keeping with their colour and style while being technically adapted for the stage.

The performance takes place in the Press Museum in Cemberlitas and lasts 80 minutes and is divided into two parts.
