Sparkling Waters Hotel & Spa was voted a finalist in the 2011 AA Travel Guides and American Express Accommodation Awards in the category "Family Resort" - a great achievement!

Sparkling Waters Hotel has 56 comfortable rooms that are spread out on 4,5 hectare of the beautiful 45 hectare property. Standard and Executive rooms in configurations of Double, Twin, Three Bedded and Family rooms all en-suite with bath and shower, selected DSTV, aircon, Radio and Telephone.

Rooms are available from 14h00 on the day of arrival, and must be vacated by 11h00 on the day of departure. Generally it is possible to arrange for a late departure at no extra charge.

Conferences are the major contributor to the hotel’s income. In the past 19 years since the current shareholders took over ownership it has not been possible to close the centre for the two month period required to complete the planned renovations. The 2010 World Cup presented them with the ideal opportunity as the hotel was booked out from 31 May to 13 July by the BBC and Sky News.

Construction work was completed around the end of July and the new centre was officially opened during a VIP launch held on 22 August 2010.

Great news is that - all this is available only 1.5 hours from Johannesburg, 1 hour from Pretoria and Sun City, and 20 minutes from Rustenburg.

It is also good to know that Sparkling Waters is no stranger to the AA Accommodation Awards: Semi-Finalist: 1997, 1998, 1999, 2002, 2004, 2006; Finalist: 2000, 2001, 2003 and 2005, 2008 and 2009. The only 3 time winners of the prestigious "Conference Venue of the Year” award. Their Motto is “Home From Home”, Value For Money” and “Never Say No”

The Barrel and Brass Ladies Bar: A very relaxing Tudor Style bar with a welcoming atmosphere – ideal for pre-dinner drinks, long chats and nightcaps. The Bar is uniquely decorated with an oak Brandy Barrel, brass ornaments and horse leathers. During the winter months a warm coal fire burns at night in a large fireplace.

The Curio and Gift Shop: This shop supports local businesses by selling their arts, pottery, clothes, leather goods, souvenirs, sweets, jewellery, and toiletries etc.

The Residents Lounge: During winter months a large fire crackles away. Local and international magazines and a limited library is available for those who wish to indulge in a period of quiet reading.

The Tudor Room: The Tudor Room dining room seats up to 150 guests and is renowned for a fine table above all expectations.

Day Visitors and Sunday Lunch: Their legendary Sunday lamb on the spit and the carvery buffet is served from the braai area adjacent to the covered veranda (with inclement weather in the Tudor Room) between 13h00 to 14h30 most Sundays. Bookings are absolutely essential and most visitors make it a day’s outing combining it with Spa Treatments and/or Canopy Tours.

Specialty Menus: For conferences and in place of their normal Tudor Room menu Sparkling Waters offer the widest range of specialty meals and theme banquets in the North West Province (conditions apply). All dietary requirements are adequately catered for with prior arrangement

Conferencing at Sparkling Waters: Sparkling Waters has 4 Main conference rooms and 7 board / breakaway rooms with seating for up to 150 delegates. The 4 main centres are all fitted with data projectors as well as the normal range of AV equipment, flip charts, white boards etc. They are the only known hotel in SA to offer FREE team building including facilitation (conditional). The Sparkling Health Spa: The award winning Spa is housed in a 750sqm thatched pavilion overlooking the wooded area next to the Krom river. The Spa comprises an indoor heated pool, sun deck, hydro therapy room, signature treatment room, gym, sun bed, fully equipped salon (fully qualified therapists and more than 45 treatments), kiddies salon, steam room, tropical Jacuzzi garden and tented gazebo for open air treatments. Dubbed by the media as a true “Champagne and Oyster” experience. The Sparkling Health Spa has added a new dimension to the already significant array of facilities available at the Hotel. The Magaliesburg Canopy Tour: Situated at the Sparkling Waters Hotel & Spa. This is a unique eco-adventure that takes clients on a 2,5 hour tour down the spectacular Ysterhout Kloof, set in the ancient Magaliesberg Mountains. Slide from 11 platforms joined by 10 cabled slides up to 140m long and in places 30 m above the stream below.
