* Highway splits into three. Keep to the left and follow
the N3 N12 (N3) Jhb sign
* Pass Van Buuren offramp
* Follow M2 to Johannesburg
* Highway splits again into M1 Sandton/Pretoria, M1 Bloemfontein
and M2 Roodepoort
* follow M1 Sandton/Pretoria
* Pass Smit Street offramp and Empire Road offramp - Keep left
* Take Jan Smuts Avenue offramp on left
* Follow Jan Smuts Avenue until you see the sign to 'the zoo'
on your right hand side.
* Turn left at next traffic light into Westcliff Drive.
* Stay left on Westcliff Drive over traffic circle
* Then turn right into Armagh Road

At the Zoo Guest House Accommodation: Main House: The executive en-suite rooms are individually decorated and furnished with either king size beds or two single beds. They cater for the leisure and the tourist visitor to Johannesburg, by having casual seating as well as work areas. Continental as well as English Breakfast is served in the Guest Lounge which opens to the terrace and swimming pool and has a cosy fireplace for colder winter days. The Cottage: The Cottage has two self-contained units, both equipped to the same standard as the executive rooms in the main house, with wireless internet access. 'The Suite' The Suite consists of one double bedroom, bathroom with corner shower and under-floor heating, open-plan lounge with dining area and fully equipped kitchen.'The Studio' The Studio has bedroom with 2 single beds, bathroom with bath and small kitchenette. Both units are fully air-conditioned and 'The Suite' has its own satellite decoder. The Cottage also has a guest laundry with drying area.At the Zoo Guest House Facilities: All rooms are equipped with TV, heating, fans, bar fridges, tea/coffee trays, safety deposit boxes, telephone points for dial-up modem connections as well as wireless internet. All bathrooms have bath as well as shower, under-floor heating, heated towel rail, hairdryer and gowns. The Cottage has its own driveway with secure parking for 3 cars. Each unit has an outside area with garden table and chairs as well as barbeque facilities. The Cottage overlooks the fenced-off swimming pool and has direct access to the Main House.At the Zoo Guest House Location: Parkview Village with delightful shops and restaurants is within easy walking distance and other shopping and eating-out areas such as Rosebank, Killarney, Melville, Greenside and Parkhurst are close by. The Guest House is also just around the corner from the Johannesburg Zoo, the famous Orient Express, the Westcliff Hotel and the Parkview Golf Course. At the Zoo Guest House is a member of the Gauteng Combined Accommodation Association as well as the Rosebank Region B&B Association. |

Parkview is such a lovely suburb, and this spot is a nice homely place to stay. Great location next to the Zoo.
