In this natural environment, guests can experience the true “African Wild” that has no parallel. This interactive safari adventure is a dream come true for many guests. The land on which this lodge is located is part of the world-renowned Kruger National Park. It is actually on the path of an elephant route in ancient times, following along the Mluwati River. Today the lodge offers luxury and some of the finest accommodations. The combination of modern and ancient times, and traditional culture, offers guests an ambience that is truly unusual and spectacular. The lodge is 50 km from the park’s Orpen Gate and 80 km from the Kruger Gate. It is 506 km from Johannesburg. Hoyo-Hoyo Tsonga Lodge Accommodation: Six luxurious suites (or huts), offering air conditioning and shaped like “bee hives” are ready to accommodate you. They are round and cylindrical in shape and have a thatched roof. They are decorated with natural, earthy colours and contain king-size beds, outdoor showers, ensuite bathrooms, and private decks from which to easily view game. The decorative objects and fabrics used in transforming the suites into charming and comfortable African accommodations are handcrafted from the local Tsonga community, who are very proud of their creations. Views from the suites are all-encompassing and incredible. Hoyo-Hoyo Tsonga Lodge Facilities: Breakfast is served in a “potjie pot” or over braai coals in the traditional manner of cooking. A certain European style is also incorporated into the delicious dishes that are prepared for your enchantment and delight. There is something for everyone to enjoy. Dinner at the lodge is a social affair and time for community and coming together. Special dietary needs can be accommodated. Drinks are offered in a genuine calabash. Hoyo-Hoyo Tsonga Lodge Location: Services offered by the lodge include welcome drinks upon your arrival, a swimming pool, and butler service. Land lines are limited and cell phone reception is non-existent in this corner of the natural world. The water here is safe to drink; however, bottled water is provided in your room. Airport transfers can be arranged.
Activities include a Nomadic Spa encounter and bird-watching. This setting is a glorious one for spotting different types of birds, as well as other wildlife. Guests may drive themselves on a tour through Kruger National Park, or go on a guided game drive in 4x4 vehicles for an exciting adventure. |

what a place to stay! not too far from joburg, adn it offers everything you could ever want in a bush holiday. plenty of game, and more than enough luxury on offer. the views and location are idyllic.
