 Teak Place OverviewNestled in the heart of the Cradle Of Humankind conservency you will find Teak Place - a unique upmarket family orientated venue that caters for all ages young and old alike. They are child-friendly and offer an experience for children like never before, whist you relax in the calm tranquil surroundings. At Teak Place you have the choice of either the outdoor bush bar where traditional potjies are served every sunday lunch with potatoes, rice or pap, or their terraced restaurant which overlooks the Magaliesburg mountains. The restaurant offers an exceptional à la carte menu from Tuesday to Saturday and a delectable buffet breakfast and lunch on Sundays. u with energy to spare the challenge of 3 moun--> For the older children there is the excitement of the BMX track and for those of yotain bike trails through the picturesque Magaliesburg mountains.
For couples that want to tie the knot in country style, we offer a one of a kind chapel on the top of the mountain with a view across the moutains and valleys and a beautiful reception hall. Teak Place has brand new bed and breakfast facilities for those guests who would like to stay the night and enjoy our buffet breakfast with the newly weds. An on-site wedding co-ordinator and florist will be able to assist you with everything from your bridal bouquet to your wedding cake free of charge.
For those who want to have a conference away from the hustle and bustle of city life, we offer a conference centre with all your requirements.
Teak Place is the ideal get away and will cater for any function - Birthday parties, private functions or team building. Recommended for: * Dining * Conferences * Weddings * Accommodation Teak Place Accommodation: Teak Place offers a total of 12 luxury suites all of which are set in the peaceful and tranquil settings of the Magaliesberg mountains, in the heart of the Cradle Of Humankind. Each room is furnished with old world furniture and has an en-suite bathroom, ceiling fans, safe wall heaters, tea/coffee making facilities, stocked bar fridges, flat screen television with selected DSTV channels and a comfortable lounging area. Teak Place Facilities: Teak Place offers a variety of activities that will keep your children occupied. The animal petting and feeding park will keep them facinated and enthralled for hours. There are also jumping castles, jungle gyms, trampolines, volley ball and tennis courts and a swimming pool for those hot summer days. After a long lazy lunch both parents and children can walk through our exotic bird park and the only organic vegetable garden in the entire Cradle Of Humankind where you can take a basket and pick your very own vegetables fresh from the ground. Conferences A state-of-the-art conference room away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Just 40km from Johannesburg and Pretoria in the scenic setting of the Magaliesberg mountains, Teak Place provides a relaxed atmosphere for conference delegates. They offer a unique conference centre for small conferences with leather chairs and air conditioning. An alternative is their larger conference centre which can accommodate up to 120 delegates. Dining You can choose from their à la carte menus from Tuesday to Saturday. On Sundays they do an affordable traditional buffet breakfast and lunch on the terraced patio. Our unique one-of-a-kind bush bar is open on sundays where traditional food is served from potjies whilst enjoying live music. Should you wish to have a set menu for a wedding or function these are also available. Teal Place will accommodate you with anything from a spit braai to a pure beef hamburger to make you and your guests feel as at home as possible. Should you wish to have a private end of year function in either the restaurant or bush bar from Monday to Saturday, they will be more than willing to accommodate you and assist with all the arrangements from décor to flower arrangements.
The staff at Teak Place take care of all the necessary details in order to ensure a stress-free experience. The standard equipment includes overhead projectors, screens, white board and pens and flipcharts. Each table is set with mints and cordials. Additional equipment and rates are available on request. |
