Predator World

Predator World is a modern zoo, only 6 km from Sun City and Pilanesberg National park, specializing, as its name suggests, in predators. They have a wide range of animals for you to see, including: white lions, brown lions, leopards, cheetahs, brown hyenas, spotted hyenas, jackals, Bengal tigers, meerkats, caracals, serval cats, small and large spotted genets, a reptile house, Ernie the Raccoon and Marmoset monkeys.

Predator World is a great place to take the whole family, because it has something that everyone can enjoy. It is also very conveniently situated: you can easily include a visit to Predator World in a day visit to Sun City, Pilanesberg or Hartbeespoort dam. And since all their tours are supervised by very well-trained guides with a superb knowledge of interesting facts about the predators, you will learn a great deal during your tour.

All the Predator World tours are structured around the arrival times of their visitors. This means you should never have to wait longer than 20 minutes for the next tour. Feeding time is a very important occasion Predator World. This is your chance to peek while their big animals stuff their faces.

The feeding times are: Mondays: 11:00, Thursdays: 16:00, Saturdays: 14:00

Different tours available:

1) Game Drives - game farm has 25 different species free ranging game, apart from the zoo with the predators, as well as abundant bird life! You will have the opportunity to see our buffalo and Sable breeding project as well as White Rhino, Giraffe, Zebra, Bushbuck, Eland, Gemsbok, Banded Mongoose and a whole lot more! 2) Cheetah interaction - An amazing opportunity to get as you will ever get to these magnificent creatures. Spend some quality time with our spotted cats, take awesome photos and make everyone you know very jealous. Also interaction with lion cubs, when available. These activities are not for pregnant woman, under 16s or people with serious disabilities.

3) Zoo-By-Night Tours - These tours after dark give you an awesome, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to find out what the animals at the zoo get up to at night. In order to participate, you need to arrive at Predator World in the late afternoon. You will then be offered sundowners and a scrumptious Bush braai, while you watch the sun going down and listen to the animals getting ready for the night! As soon as the sun sets, the tour departs and you spend the next delightful hour of darkness in the zoo; with your guide and a spotlight. Bookings essential.

Game Drive picnic - Spend some quality time with a special person on this very romantic game drive. They will pack you a picnic basket with fresh bread, cheese, salads, drinks and a couple of other special treats. Bookings essential.
