Glistening with a cultural and ethnic appeal, it is Kazakhstan's curious blend of Islamic, Western and Soviet history that makes this prosperous place truly unique.

Harnessing this untapped potential, Jamshid and Yuliya were quick to pounce upon the gap in our My Destination network. A married couple, looking to combine business with pleasure, the notion of making travel their occupation was too good to miss.

Born in sunny Uzbekistan, Jamshid has long since been used to a country with boundless history and hospitality. Since 2005, he has travelled between Tashkent and Almaty, where he first met Yuliya. Jamshid is passionate about travelling and discovering new exotic places.

Born and raised in Almaty, the 'southern' capital of Kazakhstan, Yuliya has dreamed of working in tourism since she was a child. Graduating with a degree in Tourism, becoming one of the local experts for My Destination Kazakhstan was a natural fit for Yuliya. She is an ardent supporter of outdoor activities including hiking, bicycle rides and sightseeing.

Uniting their shared goals and aspirations, Jamshid and Yuliya are looking forward to operating as local experts for My Destination Kazakhstan, using the site as an online platform to promote their beloved destination.
