The restaurant is very conveniently located, on the corner of Shevchenko Street and Dostyk Avenue, two major streets of Almaty, where day and night-life are always very full and active.

In a very cosy and traditional style restaurant, very well designed and decorated displaying many features of France, you will immediately dive into the typical atmosphere of a Parisian restaurant, high in contrasts, cheerfulness and rich in colour, accompanied by a selection of old and contemporary French songs.

Ironically, Cafe de Paris takes its name from the nickname given to French people by the British. It is much more than a conventional French restaurant only serving frog's legs. You will choose from an extensive menu offering a large and typical range of delicious starters, salads, main dishes and desserts which will definitely take you to a new world of tastes. This is the very best of French cuisine, all here in Almaty.

Since 2011, the French chef Franck and the management team of the restaurant have been busy creating and improving the tastes and dishes of our country. Each season sees new options, including more and more traditional dishes from all over France. La Raclette, for example, is a typical dish from The Alps which is named after a local cheese melted and served with the finest ingredients including boiled potatoes. La Raclette is always pleasant to share with friends or family during the dark and cold evenings of winter.

You may also try Boeuf Bourguignon (selected pieces of beef boiled in Bourgogne wine with dressing), Blanquette de Veau (veal ragout accompanied by a white and tasty sauce with vegetables) or Entrecôte (best beef, delicious with any dressing, and very much so with fries or potatoes). Then there are the terrines, amazing desserts, like macarons, Île Flottante (fresh meringue floating on a tasty vanilla sauce) and profiterolles, all from the very best French cuisine traditions and only in Almaty at Cafe de Paris.
