Nowhere is this more in evidence than in the abundance of places to eat and cuisine to choose from. The selection of eateries across the country, mainly in Almaty and Astana, comprises such a range that even the hungriest gourmet would be forced to miss out on a few tasty dishes, be they from restaurants serving food prepared according to time honoured Kazakh recipes, or other national varieties. Uzbek, Chinese, Korean, Italian, Indian, American, Russian or even Cuban to name a few are easy to find, such is the spectrum of culinary delight. Here are a few places we are delighted to recommend.
