Palacina

Palacina Rooms:

Each of the Palacina’s fourteen suites (including two penthouse units) has its own private, furnished balcony. The suites also have living rooms and en-suite bathrooms with Jacuzzi tubs and showers. The suites are furnished in neutral tones with rich teak woods and pale colors, Kenyan art, and unique lighting. Guests can enjoy satellite televisions and DVD players. (The penthouses have flat-screen televisions.) Fully stocked wet bars also include a microwave, an electric kettle, and dishes and silverware.

The Residence has fully serviced, furnished apartments available if you will be in Nairobi for more than a month. These apartments are furnished in a similar style to the rooms, and feature one, two or three bedrooms and well-equipped kitchens. The bathrooms have a tub and/or shower. Guests in the Residences can use all of the hotel amenities.

Palacina Restaurants & Bars:

Breakfast is served in a breakfast room with its open farmhouse kitchen, at the bar, or in the lobby, which is decorated to serve as a living room, complete with its own bar. The Moonflower Restaurant is a romantic, award-winning restaurant with Swahili and Mediterranean touches. The menu features fresh Kenyan produce in contemporary items. Wood ceilings, fringed lampshades, exotic statues, and comfortable seating make the Moonflower a place to linger. The restaurant sometimes features live jazz music. Room service is also available.

Palacina Facilities:

The hotel is set amidst beautiful gardens, and has a private swimming pool. The conference facilities are available for meetings or parties; the hotel staff will ensure a successful event. Guests can also reserve a private lounge with their own waiter, free of charge. The lobby is also designed to be a place to relax or read. A fitness centre offers exercise equipment, or you can book a beauty appointment in the on-site spa room. The hotel has a laundry service, as well as a coin-operated laundry for guests. The business centre is open constantly. The lobby staff can change money, post mail, and advise you on local sites and restaurants.
