Bamburi Beach Hotel Rooms:

The Bamburi Beach Hotel has 150 air-conditioned rooms, which are furnished in an Arabian style. All of the rooms have private balconies, and most have views of the ocean. The rooms have two twin beds or one queen-sized bed and a single bed. Each room has space for an extra bed (available at an extra charge) or a baby cot. You can enjoy a DVD on your room’s television set, and indulge in a drink from the mini-bar. The Bamburi Beach Hotel make your own tea or coffee when you wake up. The bathrooms have showers. There is a combination safe in each room to store your valuables, and all of the rooms have direct dial telephones.

Bamburi Beach Hotel Restaurants & Bars:

The Bamburi Beach Hotel has a good selection of restaurants: The main Ziwani Buffet Restaurant is where the included meals are served; it has a bright, open feel with rustic furnishings. The restaurant offers three theme nights a week. Guests can also get fish or meat cooked on a charcoal grill at the Karibu Grill, near the pool. The Fisherman’s Cave Restaurant offers seafood, European, and Asian dishes. (All-inclusive rates provide a 20% discount for meals in the Fisherman’s Cave.) The Karibu Snack Bar offers lunch fare, including pizzas and burgers. 24-hour room service is available.

There are four bars, one of which (the Dhow Bar) is open 24 hours each day. (The Dhow Bar is designed to remind you of a small sailboat.) The Karibu Bar, Pool Bar, and Fisherman’s Cave Bar also serve drinks. The hotel prides itself on its wine list, which includes local and international vintages.

Bamburi Beach Hotel Facilities:

The Bamburi Beach Hotel has a private Indian Ocean beach with its own boardwalk, and two swimming pools, one with a Jacuzzi. There are activities arranged for children aged from four to twelve. The Bamburi staff will also organize adult activities, including water and beach volleyball, water basketball, or cultural tours. For those keen on exercise, there are two air-conditioned squash courts, a fitness centre and a beauty salon. An air-conditioned conference room and various games, including billiards are available within the complex. Parking is free, or you can use the hotel taxis. The Bamburi Beach Hotel has a backup power generator, and a doctor is always on call in case of emergency.
