This is the place to enjoy a private, secluded, restful vacation. This small resort is located on the Indian Ocean, approximately 90 minutes by car from Mombasa. The resort welcomes honeymooners, small weddings, and corporate retreats. Kinondo Kwetu Rooms: The resort can accommodate a maximum of 38 guests. Each room is individually decorated with Swahili handcrafts. All of the double rooms have king sized beds. All of the rooms have fans and mosquito nets. Kinondo Kwetu Restaurants & Bars: The resort serves three-course lunches and dinners. These highlight local produce and often feature fresh fish and seafood. Dietary requirements and children’s menus are possible. Kinondo Kwetu Facilities: There are two pools; one is deep enough to allow you to train for a diving certificate. The resort has three horses available to guests. There is also a tennis court. For those inclined to water sports, there is a dhow (a small wooden boat) and outriggers for sailing. A golf course is nearby, and there is a local airstrip for you to travel on safari, should you choose. Bird watching is also a popular pastime at Kinondo Kwetu. You can have a massage, enjoy a Finnish sauna in the evenings, or find a quiet place to meditate.
