The Windsor Golf Hotel Rooms:

All the rooms at the Windsor are beautifully decorated with plush regal furnishings. Each and every room has a magnificent view over the grounds. They all have: direct-dial telephones, a safe, special Savoy-styled shower heads (the size of a soup plate!) hardwood floors, large en-suite bathrooms and other luxury amenities. Three types of accommodation are available:

Deluxe single/double rooms –There are 80 Deluxe rooms and all are en-suite.

Studio suite – These spacious suites, all feature, a lounge, bathroom with, a walk-in-shower and a bath tab and a separate washroom. There are 20 of these suites available.

Cottage – These picturesque, two-bedroom cottages provide comfort and luxury in a private setting. Overlooking the golf course and surrounding tropical flower beds, where better to spend your time? Each bedroom is ensuite and opens out into the gardens. There’s a common living room and each room in the cottage is designed for comfort, having its own plasma screen TV with satellite TV and a fully stocked minibar.

The Windsor Golf Hotel Restaurants & Bars:

The Windsor is able to host cosy, intimate and romantic dinners for two or events for up to 1200 guests. It has a choice of three elegant restaurants, each offering a choice of menus. The variety of alfresco settings linked to these restaurants, means that the dining experiences here are never dull and make the most of the superb scenery and environment of this charming golf club

RESTAURANTS

Windsor Room (7.00 pm to 11.00 pm) - The Windsor Room Restaurant offers an A La Carte menu featuring game meat, poultry dishes and fine fish delicacies.

Conservatory Restaurant (Open 24 hours) - The Conservatory Restaurant has a modern clean cut décor and is open throughout the day. It’s located next to the swimming pool and offers an a-la-carte coffee shop style menu.

Country Room - The Country Room offers a variety of time-honored recipes in a relaxed and more “country style” atmosphere!

BARS

Library Bar - This beautifully furnished bar is found in the same level as the lobby, and serves drinks from 7.00 am to the last guest.

Kingfisher Bar - The Kingfisher Bar is close to the conservatory restaurant and has the same modern look and feel. It overlooks the swimming pool and it offers a good selection of cocktails around the clock.

Club House Bar - With it’s leather bound bar stools, hardwood interior and the look of an upmarket, English “public House” this bar is the perfect place to retire to after a round of golf. The club House bar offers a relaxing place to enjoy drinks or cocktails for everyone from 10.00 am to 1.00 am

OUTDOOR DINNER & PARTY VENUES

The Windsor Golf and Country Club is an ideal place to host theme dinners, wedding receptions, cocktail parties, product launches and incentive events. Just where to locate these events really is up to you as the grounds cover 220 acres in total, and there are many picturesque sites, which are all ideally for hosting such events. The main venues for hosting events are:

The Garden Pond- This is on two layers and it creates a romantic and interesting atmosphere. The lower tier is rectangular, with a stone terrace surrounding a fishpond. Around this are four elevated sides, with stone arches with colorful hanging creepers. Lanterns and paper bag candles make this a stunning venue at night with shimmering light and a magical and very tropical feel.

The 10th Tee - The well-manicured lawn next to the 10th tee and cottages can comfortably host an event of up to 1200 guests under beautiful white tents. In the background, the hotel and cottages look stunning, and a feeling of space extends all around because of the golf course surrounding it.

1st Fairway Lake View – A beautiful lake surrounded with reeds and brightly coloured Bougainvillea bushels is the location for this venue. Cormorants and Egyptian geese, add to the exotic atmosphere. The indigenous tropical rain forest in the background is a nice finishing touch to this stunning African outdoor scene.

Kigwa View Venue - A beautiful lake sets the scene for the Kigwa View Venue. Fresh air and a sense of privacy, makes the setting of this venue a peaceful place to enjoy your meal. The landscaping is cleverly done with dual-terracing and enough space to accommodate up to 200 guests.

Terraces - The terraces can also hold up to 200 people, and they have a great view over the golf course and beautiful lawns.

Entertainments:

To enhance the atmosphere of your events, there’s a huge variety of entertainments and musicians available: Jazz bands, traditional African bands, local cabaret shows, traditional dancing troupes, local choirs, acrobatic troupes or colorful African choir groups.

SPORTS FACILITIES

There are steam rooms, a swimming pool and pool side conservatory, and, if the golf isn’t providing you with enough exercise, there are plenty of other things to try out: Why not try out one of the five floodlit tennis courts, two squash courts, fully equipped gym and fitness centre or even the 5 Km jogging track!

CONFERENCE FACILITIES

Conference facilities together with a fully equipped business centre regularly cater for groups and parties of up to 300 (maximum 1200). It is the ideal place to hold conferences, workshops, meetings and team building activities
