Jiamini - Katchy Kollections

Jiamini - meaning "belive in yourself" in Kiswahili, is located in the Thigiri Ridge Shopping Centre, half way between Westlands and the Village Market. This small outlet has a beautiful selection of handcrafted giftware.

With many beautiful items, leather handbags, shoes , keyrings, carved bowls and clothing. The common theme for many items is the colourful and intricate beadwork which is unique to the young designer, Anthony Mulli, behind the Katchy Kollections brand.

Katchy Kollections are also selling their items in some other local exclusive outlets within Nairobi, but for the complete collection, the Thigiri Ridge branch is their main showroom.

After initially starting Jiamini as a hobby, the jewellery pieces received such a positive response that Jiamini was soon transformed into an income generating business. Jiamini is a family run business and now employs for over 15 young people, who are able to support themselves and their families from the income they make.

Great care and attention to detail on each item make each item in the Katchy-Kollection range, a piece to treasure and something you can be sure your friends and family will love to receive.
