Choeng Mon Information

Accomodation is fairly limited, with 2 high-end resorts taking up a good part of the main street and section of the beach. There are some high-end private villas, a few mid-range resorts and not much in the way of budget accommodation, so you may be looking at paying a premium compared to other resort areas on the island.

The main street of Choeng Mon is not more than 1 kilometre long and like Chaweng runs parallel to the beach. 

Like Chaweng and Lamai, Choeng Mon has got everything you’ll find in other tourist centres, only it’s not in such abundance. There are a handful of restaurants on the main street with a good variety of  themes to suit all tastes and budgets, likewise on the beach.

There are plenty of one stop shops, where you can book your tours, days trips, air tickets, car hire, bike hire, and even get your laundry done while you’re at it. 

Choeng Mon is well placed to enjoy quiet lazy days on the beach and if you feel you need a bit more entertainment or variety, Chaweng, Bangrak and Fisherman’s Village are only minutes away.
