Damansara Information

Damansara, due to it bustling commercial activities, is dubbed the "Golden Triangle" of Petaling Jaya.

(The other "Golden Triangle" is in Kuala Lumpur, with landmarks such as Berjaya Times Square, Sungei Wang Plaza and Low Yat Plaza.)

 

 

Over a short period of time, commercial and residential landmarks has mushroomed in and around Damansara. Local favourites such as the largest IKEA outlet in Southeast Asia and familiar shoppings malls such as One Utama, The Curve and e@Curve are within this area.

For locals whom does not wish to endure the usually heavy traffic jam to go downtown to Kuala Lumpur, Damansara is a popular hub of entertainment, food, music, activities, nightlife and lifestyle attraction, mainly for locals

As a whole, Damansara is home to several townships (within Petaling Jaya), easily notable by special mention of "Damansara" in its name - such as, Damansara Jaya, Damansara Perdana, Damansara Utama, Mutiara Damansara, Kota Damansara, to name a few. It is one of the most densely populated areas in Malaysia.
