![]() Claridges OverviewClaridge´s is beautifully located near the corner of Brook Street and Davies Street in the heart of Mayfair. James Mivart opened the hotel in the house at 51 Brook Street originally for those wishing to stay in London for more than a night or two and the house was leased for a period of time. After the success of the first house he later bought a second house located at 57 Brook Street. This began the illustrious career of Claridge's Claridges Rooms: The rooms themselves all 203 of them are individually designed and supremely comfortable. You can find the right room no matter the mood you are in or the event you are planning, from the latest in communication and entertainment to a romantic time for two.
You can chose the Deluxe King or Twin-bedded room, with its ex suite marble bathroom or The Royal Suite. The Royal Suite has a beautiful entryway complete with English-styled furniture from the eighteenth century and gorgeous pillars. A graceful drawing room area with large windows that overlook Brook Street are the hallmark of the suite. The Royal Suite is 170 square meters / 1,830 square feet. Claridges Restaurants & Bars: The food is as wonderful as the rest of the hotel which is obviously focused around Gordon Ramsay’s restaurant. Japanese breakfasts are available, picnics can be made to order, private rooms for dining are offered and dietary requirements can be catered to for each guest. With restaurants like The Foyer and the Reading Room, you’re sure to be happy with the dining options.
You can have a lovely afternoon tea in this award winning hotel, attend Masterclass 2008, or simply relax in the comfort of your own room. Claridges Facilities: There are many facilities in the hotel as well such as in-house flowers and gifts, luggage unpacking, porter service, currency exchange, and many more.
While staying at Claridge’s you can chose to have a wedding not only planned but also carried out all the way through the reception and honeymoon. You can easily have 120 and 800 guests can be accommodated in grand style. There are of course the famous Museums, Hyde Park, Knightsbridge and much more. |

March 2011 Extremely luxurious
Pat Dunne from Manchester
Claridges is definitely the place to stay for those looking for a super luxurious stay in London. The hotel is decorated as if it were a palace. You will be amazed. However, I do think that the price is a little bit too high for the service as well as the food.

March 2011 A great hotel
Simon Murphy from Ireland
This is the second time that I have stated at Claridges. I came back the second time because of the the classic feel and atmosphere. While staying here I was able to enjoy the close by shopping and the orchestra that played during dinner. I would definitely recommend others to stay here.
