Since it's can-ception in 2003, this artistic competition in the lobby of Canary Wharf shopping centre has attracted both talented competitors and awe-struck spectators alike.

Hosted by Canstruction, this competition involves creating the best piece of art by stacking cans on top of each other. Finished pieces have included sharks riding waves, pop-art images of famous people - Barack Obama included - and abstract works.

It's a free-to-attend event and definitely worth it, not least to get a taste of metropolitan Canary Wharf with its towering, window-clad skyscrapers.
