Located at Park Lane’s London Hilton Hotel, the Galvin at Windows restaurant and bar is a fresh, decadent and utterly charming establishment that has very sociable opening hours - except Saturday afternoons and Sunday evenings - for lunch and dinner. The bar stays open all through the week and llate into the night where you can wend away the hours with a slender glass in hand.

With glorious views of London, The Eye and the river, how could you not resist enjoying a plate of venison saddle or Cornish brill with white onion, lime and butter sauce here? We're talking serious date material. People have been known to have fallen in love with their crushes thanks to the atmosphere and table-side vistas of Galvin at Windows.

And if that doesn't do it for you, the food and drink surely has to (apart from the near-£10 price tag on a bottle of beer - get a cocktail instead - and a typical average of £65 per head overall). You can opt for a set menu (2 courses for £25 or 3 for £29) which serves up a delicious starter of hen's egg with Charlotte potatoes, or smoked haddock and a curry mayonnaise; and the main of corn-fed chicken breast with mustard cream is to die for. Other options are, of course, available.

Over at the bar you'll find a wide range of cocktails, champagnes, wines and beers. The bartenders are professional and pour their cocktails with expert style and skill and, if you've got the money, you'll see just what we mean when the cool concoction passes your lips.

Galvin at Windows is slick, cool and designed to seriously impress. The staff, food, atmosphere and style of the place are all excellent and you'll certainly not forget your experience here in a hurry.
