![]() La Trouvaille OverviewLa Trouvaille is a French restaurant and wine bar on Newburgh in Soho. The owners Thierry Bouteloup and Guillaume Siard have a long experience in fine dining and fine wines. The restaurant gives them the opportunity to follow their passion of sourcing the finest ingredients and finest wines on a professional level.
The menu of the La Trouvaille is characterised by fresh and unique dishes, well-prepared and mouth-wateringly presented. Pre-theatre meals are only £ 16.50 for two courses and £ 20.00 for three courses and dishes such as breaded fillet of plaice, tartare sauce and sautéed potatoes and wild mushroom and vegetable stew are offered. While the dinner menu is slightly more expensive, it offers a broader selection and exquisite dishes like the tian of spiced winter vegetables and coriander coulis and also fillet of sea bream, piperade and pastis jus. That rare and vintage wines and its produce has always been the owners’ passion is noticeable on the extensive wine lust. With wines from the south and southwest of France and Corsica, the wine list is complementing and unique and includes many wines which are offered by the glass and by the bottle.
Whereas the dining room of the La Trouvaille is situated on the first floor of the building, the lively wine bar can be found on the ground floor. Both have a sophisticated and pleasant ambience with attentive and friendly waiters. The restaurant is ideal for wine connoisseurs, for guests enjoying authentic French food and for those seeking a memorable dining experience.
